Our project on cancer ‘Over Leven met Kanker’ has entered a new phase. Last year the project was instigated as part of de Zeeuwse Huiskamer. During this project, we talked to several cancer patients in order to gather storylines which shed a light on, for instance:
– what it is like to be diagnosed with cancer
– what it is like to have cancer yourself
– what impact it has on your work, family and personal life
Aside from people with cancer, their family, friends and professional care givers were interviewed as well. The interview sessions have all finished now and the team is now busy processing the six cases and turning the stories into accessible data.
